Golf tournament “Domaine Boyar” finished in Pirin Golf and Country Club

The first for this year Golf tournament “Domaine Boyar” finished in Bulgaria’s Pirin Golf and Country Club. Golfers from Bulgarian and abroad enjoy the lovely sunny weather, the great selection of wines, provided by the sponsors of the tournament. This year many golf enthusiasts showed their interest in the golf tournament near Razlog. The maximum number of players, 88, turned out to be insufficient to satisfy the interest of participants from 8 countries: USA, UK, Russia, Macedonia, Germany and others. There were 38 applicants on the waiting list. Andy Peach from UK has become a champion in the division A and he achieved for the second time the best record of a golfer who had ever played at Pirin Golf Club.

The women golf cup has been won by Ana-Mariya Valkanova. Golf enthusiasts still remember that she was the first golf player who had achieved Hole-in—one at Pirin Golf and Country Club. All winners in the golf tournament have received their prizes from the vice president of Domaine Boyar winery. The company has contributed a lot to the development of golf in Bulgaria and representing Bulgaria as a preferred golf tourism destination. Domaine Boyar has supported the golf tournament for the third consecutive year.
