Bulgaria has cemented its reputation as a popular SPA destination not only on the Balkan Peninsula, but also whole Europe. This commented Mr Ralin, the chairman of BHRA.
He pointed out that Bulgaria’s SPA hotels have been top choice at all tourism expos, especially in Moscow, Bucharest, Belgrad, Berlin.
It is a prestigious recognition that Bulgaria is perceived as a modern, contemporary, good SPA destination, and I think that Bulgaria will find its place on the market in the next two years, because it boasts unique resources, some of the best facilities and lots of mineral springs, commented Ragin. He also emphasized that besides all benefits, the prices are still attractive and tour operators offer luring prices.
Another thing which Bulgaria will strive to do is to develop itself as a tourist destination without GMO and thus it will remain a country which offers bio food. It is important to promote Bulgaria as a country without GMO and therefore the motto shall be ‘Bulgaria without GMO, visit the Bio country’, commented Mr Ragin.
Bulgaria has promoted itself successfully as a destination which offers good quality/price ratio during the global financial crisis. Blagoy Ragin said that in order for Bulgaria to beat the global financial crises, certain measures have been adopted, such as providing more bonuses for guests, various attractions, free or discounted SPA services, free use of the fitness centre of the hotel, attractive children accommodation policy, free overnights etc. In this sense, Bulgaria boasts increased revenues as instead of exorbitant prices, it has used various promotional practices.
